Reconnect To Your Body
My Approach
My work sits at the intersection of grounded science, bodily awareness, and spiritual practice. I hold spaces that are informed by modern understandings of psychology, trauma-awareness, and stress regulation, while also honouring the spiritual, energetic, and ritual dimensions of human experience.
Whether the session is quiet or expressive, still or ecstatic, my intention is always the same: to create a safe, respectful container where you can explore your inner world at your own pace. I do not seek to fix or force change, but to support what is already wanting to emerge — through listening, embodiment, and presence.
All offerings are complementary wellbeing practices. They are not a substitute for medical or psychological care, and are offered with care, consent, and personal responsibility at the centre.

Pillars of my work
Psychology
Psychology provides a grounding framework for understanding thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and patterns formed through life experience. It informs my work with insight, boundaries, and ethical care, helping ensure that inner exploration is supported by self-awareness, integration, and personal responsibility.
Movement
Movement allows energy, emotion, and stored tension to shift and express naturally. Through conscious and ecstatic movement, the body is given permission to lead, restoring agency, vitality, and connection. Movement supports integration, grounding, and a return to instinctual wisdom.
Energy
Energy work acknowledges the subtle layers of experience that influence wellbeing beyond the physical and psychological. Practices such as Reiki and Sekhem support balance, relaxation, and alignment, offering a gentle yet powerful pathway for restoration and self-regulation.
Somatic Practice
The body holds experience in ways the mind alone cannot access. Somatic work supports nervous system regulation, trauma resolution, and embodied awareness by listening to physical sensation, impulse, and felt sense. This pillar is central to my belief that lasting change happens when the body is included, not overridden.
Sound
Sound works directly with the nervous system, bypassing analysis and inviting the body into states of rest, resonance, and coherence. Through practices such as crystal bowl sound baths, sound becomes a bridge between physiology and spirit — supporting relaxation, emotional release, and meditative awareness.
Nature
Nature provides both mirror and medicine. Working with the elements, plants, and natural cycles supports grounding, perspective, and reconnection to something larger than the individual self. Nature-based practices remind us that healing is cyclical, relational, and deeply intelligent.
Esoteric
Esoteric and spiritual practices offer symbolic, ritual, and transpersonal frameworks for meaning-making and transformation. Informed by shamanic traditions and ceremonial awareness, this pillar supports inner exploration while remaining grounded, respectful, and integrated with everyday life.

Meet Lucy Strutt

Integrative practitioner
My work is rooted in lived experience, deep listening, and a lifelong curiosity about the body, the mind, and the forces that shape how we respond to life.
In 2004, while travelling in Thailand, I experienced the tsunami first-hand. In that moment, my body went into action rather than freeze — a response that would later become central to my understanding of trauma and resilience. I also lost my father on that trip, a profound loss that changed the course of my life and opened a long, ongoing path of awareness, reflection, and inner work.
Years later, when my sister was hit by a bus and lost her leg, I developed PTSD. This experience became the true catalyst that moved me into a healing role. What helped me most was not trying to think my way out of trauma, but learning to change my physical response to it — first through breath, then through posture, body language, and movement. This showed me, very clearly, that when the body is supported to lead, the mind and emotions are often able to follow. Since then, my work has been shaped by an integrative approach that honours the intelligence of the body, the subtlety of energy, and the meaning-making capacity of the psyche.
Following the collapse of my DJ career due to the pandemic, I completed a mindfulness course in early 2020, reigniting my love of learning and my fascination with how the mind works. This led me to formally study a psychology with counselling BSc, grounding my experiential knowledge in contemporary psychological understanding. In 2019, I became Level 2 attuned in Reiki Tummo (often known as Kundalini Reiki) in Bali under the guidance of Reiki Master Rama. This practice, known for its heart-opening qualities, deepened my relationship with energy work and subtle awareness. In 2024 I was attuned to Sekhem Reiki — a powerful yet deeply calming form of energy healing that supports profound relaxation and restoration.
In 2022, I trained in Focalizing, a trauma-informed somatic modality influenced by somatic experiencing, family constellations, meditation, yoga, twelve-step traditions, shamanism, and psychology. This built naturally on my yoga teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga in 2021, following a lifelong personal practice that began in my teenage years.
In the summer of 2023, I completed a year-long shamanic training. Alongside learning various forms of healing, this work reaffirmed my trust in the wisdom of nature, the elements, and plant allies. I hold a deep respect for plant medicines. Throughout all of this I held a deep interest in the power of mushrooms and followed closely the renaissance that was occurring. I have long heard a powerful calling to work with Psilocybin.
In 2024 I began combining my DJ experience with my somatic training and hosting ecstatic dances called Ritualize. They were a beautiful example of dance in ceremony, and bringing community together. Slowly I added more elements and instruments and now offer full blown sound baths and cacao ceremonies.
Today, my offerings — including space holding, trip sitting, focalizing sessions, energy healing, sound baths, and ecstatic dance — are all expressions of the same intention: to create grounded, safe, and spacious containers where healing, insight, and integration can unfold naturally.
I believe deeply in a holistic approach. What supports one person may not support another, which is why my one-to-one work draws on mind, body, energy, and the liminal to create a truly 360-degree container for multi-level healing.
We never stop learning. I continue to study, question, and refine my understanding of the body, mind, soul, and the science that supports — or has yet to catch up with — these ways of working.
